Guest
Hi all, I am trying to develop Literacy provision and practice in our Foundation stage. I want to begin by broadening my own knowledge and understanding of child development (especially in relation to CLLD) so I can better understand the theory behind what we do, and also develop a vision of outstanding practice, something to aspire to! Can anybody recommend a good author or book to get the thought process going?! (preferably the easy to read variety!) Thanks, Sarah. Guest LornaW
How about Essentials of Literacy Tina Bruce and Jenny Spratt Theories and Approaches to Learning in the Early Years by Linda Miller and Linda Pound and of course the EYFS and all of the documents on the CD rom are excellent.
