spiceye Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 Hi Guys, Happy New Year to you all. Does anyone have a staff policy regarding only one member of staff taking holiday at once. i.e If someone books a weeks holiday NO ONE else can take that time off. Thanks
Rea Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 We dont have a policy but the staff contracts say they cant take holiday during term time, although at the discretion of the committee the odd day can be taken if cover can be found. We dont say no to more than one member of staff being out becasue sometimes training days have clashed. They still have to go on them so it could be held as an example of why they shold be able to book holiday at the same time. But as I said its up to the committee to ok it anyway, and thats in the contract too.
