I am doing it within the first few days of my new ones being in using a simple 'fun' booklet. Is this correct ? and then presumably the NEXT assessment will be in October?? Assessment is usually done by observing the children within their play as part of the observation, assess and planning cycle rather than at different specified times. If you click on Search Forum Posts at the top right hand of this page and do a search you will find that this is a popular topic, especially at this time of year.
