dreamgirl
We are going to let the children dress up (we have a nursery uniform so more of a treat)....girls in lots of jewellery, hats, long dresses etc, boys will be holding a big heart and bunch of flowers. will take their photo and then next day, friday, we have invited all the mums in for a special mums day. they will decorate a frame round their child's photo, have sandwiches and cakes together and watch the lovely song on the children in need dvd that pewter kay did for his mum. then we are having a raffle, cos all mums like raffles. maybe a children raffle. then go home. laura
Ah that sounds fun. We are having Mothers Day tea parties for mums, dad, grandmas, grandad, etc. The children will have made and iced biscuits. They are singing some mothers day songs for their family and then the children can join their parents and share their biscuits. They have also planted pansies and made peppermint creams to give. We hold the tea parties over three days so all parents can hopefully make a least one! A parent has donated some virgin vie vouchers so some lucky mums will be getting pampered too! Guest
Hi. We are also having mums in on Friday for a special mums sharing in class - songs and paintings and maybe some thoughts! Just wondering if anyone knows of a short but sweet poem about mums?
