Guest Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 Hi, I know it is only November but has anyone planned activity and gift ideas for the children to make as presents for their parents for Christmas (God thats a mouth full lol). I am interested to hear what everyone else is doing
Guest Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 Our Asda has boxed sets of 4 white ceramic mugs reduced to 50p! Yes, 12.5p each!! We are going to decorate them with acrylic paint and porcelain pens and sell them for £2.50 as a fundraiser, yay!!
Panders Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 We planted hyacinth bulbs in Sept. The children will decorate pot holders for them now. For our calendar last year we had a photograph of each child cut to credit card size with a calendar on the reverse then laminated and attached to a card, we thought it would be a more modern take on the usual calendars we had done in the past and just slip into a wallet or credit card holder. Not sure of other things yet, sometimes I need the pressure of being so near to Christmas before the creative juices flow! LJW .....Lucky you to have an Asda nearby - great fundraiser.
Guest Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 For a change . we are organised, in our September topic all about me, the children painted self portraits which were then dsiplayed in our entrance hall. we have now laminated these and turned them into calenders.
diesel10 Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 we take black and white photo's of the children and mount on card to make calendars. The parents like them.
