Names And Stuff

I'm curious....maybe steve can help here. Above the little blue bars under your avatar is a little descriptor of your membership. (That's the best I can do to describe it!) Some have things like advanced member or forum inhabitant etc etc but mine only has my name! How did that get there and was there something I missed when registering??? :o

I, too have my name. I like to think it means I am just SO SPECIAL, but suspect i must have done something wrong when registering initially, as Steve has intimated (elsewhere, ages ago) that it refers to potings, and is automatically changed.

That right, Steve???

Hi both -

The default setting is set depending on the number of posts you've made - so members progress from new member through member, advanced, mega, forum inhabitant etc., as decided by my whimsy!

But you can override this, as both of you must have done in the dim and distant past, by going to your personal profile and changing your member title.

Let's keep it polite please! :)

aha! well I shall go and explore. I did wonder why it never changed when others' did!

But Sue you are right, maybe it's just that we're unquantifiable!!
