Guest Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 Does anyone have a definitive list of what should be in the single central record for OFSTED? There seem to be all sorts of rumours flying around our locality re passports, birth certificates for staff etc. Can anyone help? Thanks Quote
lynned55 Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 I'm not too sure what you mean by single central record for Ofsted. I dont have my staff (or coppies of) passports or birth certs on file. No one has ever said I had to. I have seen relevant docs though when CRB forms were done. Quote
SueJ Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 Are you referring to the documentation copies you should keep when you employ anyone to prove that as an employer you have checked their right to work in the UK? If you are this link might help Right to work in the uk documentation check list I keep copies of the relevant documentation for my new employees because without them I cannot prove that I have checked and as I'm not a politician I won't get off scott free I'm sure ! lynned55 Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 Thanks Sue, hadn't thought of that as I haven't had to employ anyone in over 5 years. But this isn't an Ofsted requirement Mozart it s an employment requirement. Quote
