Guest Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 I`m starting a new job next week in a nursery setting and the 1st topic is about the 5 senses. I am bursting ideas and resources but i`m worried about how to introduce the topic to the children! Can anyone help me please!

SueJ Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 We use a popcorn maker to encourage sensory discrimination it smells when cooking you can watch it when it is coming out of the chute you can hear it popping you can touch it before and after cooking most important you can taste it at the end for the real goody goodys - it is healthy although i prefer mine to be covered in sweet sticky sauce
Buttercup Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 loads of ideas for builders tray Jelly baff, shaving foam, soap flakes, jelly cubes, ice cubes, sawdust, gloop all good for feeling. you can add scents aswell.
