Girls Footie

Have just returned from the west riding county F A footie ground .

My daughter team have just won the cup 7-1. :o they were the first girls to be allowed to play on the mens sacred ground and it was a fantastic match.

The girls now go up against other county winners to play for the northern England regional finals xD

It was so good to see all the girls playing and will hopefully encourage more girls into the sport.

Fantastic news - anything with "footie" in the title will get me excited! Good luck for the finals then - what position does your daughter play? I bet you're really buzzing! :o

Congratulations and well done to your daughters team! My daughter has played football first as a "girl" and now as a "lady", she's 21 now. I just love going to watch her!!!
