(and she's 20 now!!) and... Farmer Duck - when ever I'm having a bad day I refer to it as a Farmer Duck day, cos of the line that says '.... the poor duck felt sleepy and weepy and tired.' Shhh! about creeping round the giants house and Aliens love underpants!! Have been thinking long and hard about a further 3 and here they are: 1. Dinosaurs love Underpants 2. Smelly Bill - 3. No David!! To be fair they are my personal favourites, especially smelly Bill as it gives me the chance to put on a posh voice and sing rather annoyingly which always has my son in stitches. I have read No David to the children in my setting and it got them thinking and became quite a conversation piece. There are very little words in it but the pictures speak for themselves. The children can identify what David is doing and that he shouldn't do those things and I have also asked what his mum thinks as she keeps shouting No David!! They can relate to it as well, as one little girl told me "I climb on chairs to get biscuits just like David!!" I particularly like the ending as it shows his mum giving him a hug and telling him she loves him, even though he has spent the day getting up to all sorts of mischief and making her cross (the childrens' words not mine!!)
