wellerkaren Posted January 7, 2009 Posted January 7, 2009 We use soap flakes whiped up in the tuff spot for a mallable material. the chidlren always enjoy this activity you can add glitter and fod colouring. I hope this helps you. x x x x
chicken Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 we use with whisks and add food colouring, talk about how colour mixes into mixture, what colour would it go if we added another colour, etc. Leave it out overnight then use it for making soap models with. Kids love it. Have to remind them not to touch there eyes, no accidents as of yet.
Guest Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 Thanks you two, will have a go at whisking tomorrow Julie
Cait Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 What's the ratio of flakes to water please? Is it just a matter of adding it till it looks right or is there a proper ratio like one cup of flakes to one of water?
wellerkaren Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 just add water till it looks right. I always use hot water as this makes it mix easier.
