Welcome to the Forum campbells

My mum always told me to make sure you leave your purse at home when meeting a friend in the pub - works every time! :o

Hope you enjoy the forum - looking forward to finding out all about you and your work.

The best piece of advice my dad gave me when I started secondary school was not to do anything I didn't feel 100% happy with (e.g sex / drugs / rock n roll) he said

"I don't care what your friends thinks about me ... I know you care what they think about you ... if they want you to do something you don;t feel happy with ... blame me ... tell your friends I'm the worst dad in the world ... tell them I won't let you do anything ... tell them whatever you like ... blame it all on me to save your face if you need to"

It's such a great 'get out' clause for a teenager and one which I shall proudly pass on to my own sons
