stedeford
can anyone tell me if it is necessary to keep nappy lists for more than the current week. Some of my staff say we should and some say not.
Lucy P
We keep all nappy charts for 6 months. I'm not sure what is expected, and this may seem excessive. We also keep sleep charts and kitchen temp charts for this amount of time too!
belle06
Just a bit of advice I would keep nappy records for at least 3 years I know of a setting where a parent attempted to sue a year after the child had left as they said the setting had caused severe nappy rash through not changing the child and the records where needed to show the times the child was changed
Guest
As far as I am aware there is no requirement in the Standards, or new EYFS guidance to keep nappy or sleep charts, only registration forms and accident forms.................................
