Jackie H
Wanted to share a funny thing that happened at my pre-school. I asked our school joiner if he could make me a raised planting , digging bed similar to the one i already have. I went to school yesterday to do some jobs and found a huge, well i can only describe it as a wooden play pen. It was made of decking so i told him it was fantastic but please could he lower it by two planks. He said " Oh I made it high so the kids carnt play in it" Priceless. still making me laugh
Lorna
That made me chuckle... bless him.... what did he think it was for.... although a play pen the children can't get out off might be useful sometimes.

Better still: keep the children out but put all the unhelpful grownups inside... Maz

Rea
I was once told, by a man, that the children couldnt have the bridges to go with the train track in case they broke them. That was after I'd physically had to pull the trains out of his hands 'cos he wasnt giving those up either. I managed to grab 2 bridges too! Is it a man thing? Unfortunatly..no! Some people do make you wonder
Guest Wolfie
Dare I ask where you were when that happened, Rea??!!
Rea
You may dare Wolfie, but I darent tell. The same man told 2 lads who had run across the room to greet me to 'get back over there with the dressing up on, you're not wandering around' You have to laugh you know
