Helen Posted May 21, 2008 Share Posted May 21, 2008 As an authority we have had a couple of enquiries from out of school providers who look after children from age 4 and upwards, and who will be on both the Early Years register and the compulsory part of the Childcare register. From their point of view they have "gained" a new registration and they want to know if they need to deliver the EYFS. If so, they will need guidance on how much of the EYFS they are expected to deliver bearing in mind most school age children will have experienced this during their school day. Inge Posted May 21, 2008 Share Posted May 21, 2008 Helen, there is an answer to this if only brief in the frequently asked question part here its about question 21..Will before and after school clubs, holiday play schemes and childminders who provide wraparound care have to implement the EYFS? may help a bit.
