belle06
Hi Have noticed the difference on some fSF members groups titles can someone tell me what these mean (Been nosey) some say Full Member others Official FSF Saint and others Full FSF member. I thought this might be something to do with the amount of posts but does not seem to be. can some one put my inquisitive nature to rest (anything to keep from doing my assignment)!! Steve
Hi Belle - Full FSF members are individual subscribers (ie they've paid their own £20 fee). Full members have joined via a local authority (which effectively pays the fee for them). And Official FSF Saints are a very rare breed. They gave voluntary contributions before the £20 subscription fee was introduced, to help with the running costs of the site. When the site became subscription based, they were exempted from a fee forever for their noble and generous natures!
Guest Wolfie
Just as a matter of interest, is there any level of subscription inbetween individual and authority? I was wondering whether I could persuade our Children's Centre to join as a setting? Is that an option?

Steve
No problem Belle - You should be nosy about a place you spend so much time in shouldn't you? Wolfie - We have set up a couple of systems for organisations with a dozen or so members, but it's actually quite involved administratively, so we try to avoid it. dublinbay
Thanks for asking the question Belle. I've wondered about that too!

Reminds me of an old spoof of "Points of View" (can't remember: possibly it was Not the Nine O'clock News) but they had a letter writer who said "the BBC is such good value I'd sell my house and all its contents to pay my licence fee"... Obviously we all feel the same about the Forum! Maz
