Guest
The chairs in our 1 year old room, are too big for the majority of the children, in the sense that their feet do not reach the floor. Please can anyone recommend a brand of chairs and tables that are suitable for the 'average' 1 year old?

hali
if Sally Thomas reads this (BTTM expert) she would say tables and chaairs had no place in the 0 - 3 age range apart from at snack / meal times!!!!.. just a thought for you
belle06
cost cutters www.costcutters.co.uk do some very nice low level wooden low high chairs which we find are useful at snack and table top times.
Lucy P
We have just realised this problem too! Last week i bought low stackable chairs from D & G Educational (can be found on page 6) I also purchased a half circle teachers table with a free teachers chair from Classroom Essentials which can be found under the tables, chairs, stools and benches section. I ordered both on Tuesday and table and chair arrived Friday - haven't had time to unpack yet but as soon as i do i will let you know quality. sharonash
Our under twos dont really use chairs but we do have a few for snack and dinner time- they are from community playthings, GALT do a very similar chair and in the new year they normally send out a discount voucher it might be worth waiting!
