Christmas Lights

AAAARRRGGGGHHHH!!!

Four sets of lights of which only one set works! They all worked last year, were wound up carefully, placed in a box carefully, stored in a little used cupboard carefully and they broke.

 

On a positive note, my living room has had a good clean and the tree smells lovely.

 

Better luck to anyone else who is opening last years dcoration box

I think your experience is probably repeated in hundreds of houses up and down the country I hope you have managed to sort it out now?

we put little reindeer on the porch twinkled perfectly 1/2 hr later the lights on his head have gone out

I bought a garland with lights today only to find the wire is so short it won't reach any sockets unless I run extension cables up the wall ( very attractive) bah humbug!

HAha Marion, that must be the same as the one I bought and took back!!!

Couldnt find anyway to hang it either.

we've been out brought new lights, came home, plugged them in, worked beautifully, decorated the tree and now the light have gone out!!!!!!typical, gone through all 140 bulbs checking still doesn't work

It took hubby 3 days and at least 3 visits to B&Q to get our outdoor light sorted, but worth it in the end. Doing the tree and indoor lights today.

Your lights look great, Peggy. We have a roof terrace and have put twinkling lights round it.
