Deb Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 Hi Does anyone reduce their fees for 2 or indeed 3rd child attending your setting at the same time? Quote
Guest Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 Hi Deb, we have reduced fees if it's 2 or more non-funded children, but not reduced if only 1 child that is paid for. Sal Quote
Guest Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 No - all children charged the same. Parents know this when they put their name down. I still have overheads to pay, so can't afford to reduce costs for extra children. We only charge £5 per morning anyway for a 2.5 hr session. Quote
Guest Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 No reduced rates for us either simply because of overheads etc. and how I calculate the fees based on the number of children I can have. Linda Quote
Lucy P Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 We are a day nursery and offer the oldest sibling a 10% discount if both children attend for 3 full days or more. (We don't have any more than two siblings attending) Quote
fizzy Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 no discounts, we are a pre school on a really tight budget Quote
belle06 Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 After the first child each subsequent sibling receives a 10% discount we are a private day nursery Quote
Guest Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 No reduced fees here either...couldn't afford to. Quote
Rea Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 I could be very wrong here but... I seem to remember being told when we gave reduced fee's to committee members children, that it could in law constitute as a wage, so we had t drop it.(cant recall if it was just to committee children or across the board, that may have had a bearing on it too) Not sure if any of your children fall into that catagory, and like I said I could be wrong. Maybe it was to do with the PLA constitution. Or maybe I'm waffling Quote
