Beau Posted April 27, 2004 Posted April 27, 2004 Hi and welcome to the site! This is obviously something I will have to go away and think about (and maybe experiment with too!) but it's too late at the moment.
mundia Posted April 27, 2004 Posted April 27, 2004 hi there shoppin snowball- interesteing username there welcome to the site. I cant answer your question, maybe it depends on the glitter???? But Im sure someone will know what to do...
Sue R Posted April 27, 2004 Posted April 27, 2004 Hi shoppin snowball - wow! good name! I love having glitter in the water, 'specially when you get it to cover the surface like a mirror - the childen do all sorts with it, and seem surprised when they break the surface and it goes all 'swirly'. I would think you've got some fairly chunky glitter - try some fine stuff, it's a bit more expensive, but sooo effective! Have fun And welcome!! Sue
hali Posted April 27, 2004 Posted April 27, 2004 hi Does not a bit of glycerine in the water help??? (thought id read it somewhere)
Guest Posted April 27, 2004 Posted April 27, 2004 Yes Hali, add some glycerine to the water and it acts as a suspension for the glitter. It gives the effect of snow shakers then. Linda
Guest Posted April 27, 2004 Posted April 27, 2004 Now i remember why i bought that bottle of glycerine!!! been sitting on my shelf for ages!!!! Thanks Sarah
