Last year for a writing assessment the whole school were asked to write to the author of The Small Miracle, Peter Collington. We did 2 weeks work around the book. I was a bit worried for the year Rs, we usually write a letter to Santa, it produces a good response as they are such experts on the subject I was worried about how they would respond. Some did quite well, for others the whole concept of the book's author was a bit much for them. Isn't this clip a brilliant way into that concept? British Council stuff looks great fun too.
