Guest
HI Today a flower van arrived at nursery to deliver someone flowers, we all instantly thought the flowers were for a collegue who is getting married on Friday..... so I go to open the door and the delivery lady say's 'flowers for Dawn'.... wow!!!!! i haven't had flowers delivered since my 21 st birthday, which was 5 years ago so i take the flowers and mentally wonder who my secret admirer is LOL..... Look at little envelope and think that i recognise the writing as that of my mum, and then wonder why an earth she is sending me flowers..... well yes flowers were from mum and the card read ' Dear Dawn, Just to say thank you for all your hard work over the past four years. Also i am so very proud of you and all that you have achieved. Love Mum and Em" (emily is my little sister)...... bit of background here, four years ago my mum had my little sister Emily and became severely postnatally depressed, mum as we knew her changed and i became second mum to Emily.... still am in part. it was so lovely to receive these flowers and to receive that thanks and to know she is proud of what i have achieved. i had a tear in my eye ..... and it has really made me feel all warm and loved inside.... i don't say it often enough to her, but i love my mum Dawn
