Guest
Hi all, I have perforations in both ears. I currently have an ear infection ( right ear) and taking antibiotics. I suffer these often due to the perforations. My query is does anyone know of any suppliers / brands of effective waterproof ear plugs. I will need really good ones for my holiday as I want to try snorkelling with turtles. ? I am concerned about water pressure and if I get water in my ears it causes/aggrivates infection. thanks. Guest
Will have to ask my husband but there are companies who do personalised earplugs-they take a mould of your ear and make the earplugs for you. Gavin uses them when he is out on his motorbike. Linda
Steve
Peggy, I think it's illegal to snorkel with turtles. You're supposed to use mask and breathing tube, which you can buy in most sports shops.

Inge
when younger my son used to use silicone ones which he could mould to the shape of his ear , cannot remember where from but quick search found some on ebay as well as this item which you may find interesting ear band-it also sell ear plugs on there. he also used a product called 'Swim Ear' (found in dive shops or on line) to dry out his ears after diving but not suitable for perforated drums.
