I helped someone else doing a similar assignment but she had to decide which curriculum to analyse in the first place...sorry if I've asked a stupid question! "Developing Early Years Practice" by Linda Miller et al, published by David Fulton has a very useful chapter on Learning and Developing from Birth to Three and there's also "Key times for play" by Julia Manning-Morton and Maggie Thorp which looks at all the theory behind good provision for 0-3s.
