Guest Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 Hi i wrote this little poem for my children, tried to keep it light hearted and reflective of out time together in class 4, didnt really know wether to give it to them but really wanted to share it Well you guys the time has come for us to have a change and maybe for a little while we might all find it a little strange but because your all so special i just have to let you know its time to let another teacher watch you as you grow and i'll still be around to help you learn and to prepare you for big school and i'll help out in your classroom sometimes wont that be really cool and Rachel will be a lovely teacher she'll show you new things every day and you guys can show Rachel how we learn in the Montessori way now listen carefully children while i tell you this important thing keep on listening to Elvis and teach Rachel that he's the king and dont forget about the special lady called Maria Montessori you can teach Rachel about her too and show her Maria in the story about our peaceful classroom thats been a happy place to be where we have changed and we have grown in freedom and harmony and if you ever need me for anything or you just need a cuddle for a bit you let me know and i'll be there you can count on it we have learnt so much together and it been so much fun for us too and now to all of you i want to say a very very big thankyou xxx Quote
