I said I just wanted toast and my little ones looked completely crestfallen so had to go for scrambled eggs and fried mushrooms too. They then stayed to help me eat it, bouncing on my legs the whole time . The two older ones aren't up yet - they can do the lunch shift! I've had a lovely day, breakfast in bed (fried egg on toast) all the wonderful cards my children have been working hard to make at school all week. We've had a lovely walk in the rain and a big sunday roast. I've got to go now for my chocolate cake, I know it's cery self indulgent, but what the heck, it is mother's day after all.
