Guest
Has anyone got any ideas of how to control the water so not too much goes into thew powder. I used to use pipetts but cant get hold of them just yet I would love to hear about your routines for powder paint mixing. Thanks Just noticed the spellings. Oh well it is early on Saturday morning - sorry! Edited November 11, 2006 by Guest
Guest Praesus Infelix
Well, I don't know about poster paint, but my mum is a potter and she always mixes up her glazes (also powder form) in a cheap and cheerful blender. Much like making mayonnaise, really, you trickle the liquid in through the hole in the lid until you get the right consistency. Takes little practice, but quite efficient. If you ever eat at my mum's house though, do check that she bought Hellman's!
mundia
we get the children to do it and we don't worry too much about consistency as they decide..its a bit of discovery for them. They just use small jugs and learn to pour carefully!
