Running Bunny
That was good fun last night (in a virtual kinda way ) It took a while to get used to when people were having separate conversations - and then by the time you were typing an answer the topic had changed again! We must do it again sometime!!

Guest
Yes it was fun RB. Mudia, I must admit they wine went down a little too easily whilst 'chatting' it is a very fast pace, which for some reason made me drink faster Hence the referal to 'having a party'. I suffered this morning though I need to become an 'early bird' as a single parent I used to be in bed by 10 pm, but since I've been married and running my own business, not normally in bed before midnight. It takes me that long to 'wind down' I will most probably be in Chat again soon though, it was good, look forward to meeting you there soon. Guest
Just wondered if you've any tips on using a chatroom...I'm a chatroom virgin!! Have dared to peep in but not sure what to do tried typing hello but no-one replied..does that mean you're alone? The welcome voice was a bit spooky! Also clicked on different rooms but was prompted for a password..I feel a bit like a peeping tom!!!! Is it only people in the chatroom at the time that see the conversation...just want to check who/what I talk about, etc Hope you chatroom experts can help

Running Bunny
I was the same as you kermit until the other night - it was a bit scary!! When you enter the chatroom, there is a white box where the conversation will appear and a blue box on the right hand side where the participants are displayed. If you go in to chat and only your name is displayed, it means you are alone. If there are others in there, you will be greeted with a flurry of 'hello' from other chatters as they can see when a new person has joined the conversation. Then you are free to join in. Only members have access to this (I think?) and only those in the chat room can see the conversation. To the best of my knowledge, you only get to see the conversation from the point you joined, so you will have to catch up on the topic being discussed! It is a bit hard to keep up at first, but you'll soon get the hang of it - I'll try and pop in tonight to see if anyone is around!
