Guest Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 Hi all Just a quick message to ask you all what part of the foundation stage/area you leave the person covering your PPA time with ? My classroom support covers my PPA time and she has been working on the Jolly phonics sounds. However, we are at the end of this now so was wondering what others do ?? thanks
Susan Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 I cover PPA in Reception ( I am the teacher with 3 LSAs and a group of 40 children) and I take a group for ICT to the suite. The LSAs have child initiated activities.
Guest Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 Our HLTA also takes our reception class to the ICT suite for ICT.
Marion Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 We currently get supply cover for PPA time so the teacher takes on the role I would have that day. For example this week it was an adult led numeracy activity. After half term our 2 NNEBs will be covering PPA time and will work in a similar way
catma Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 Do you mean what should you do with the phonics? What else does she do in that session as it will be longer than a phonics slot - curious Cx
