I see the DofE has declared

“By 2025, all education settings will have nominated a sustainability lead and put in place a climate action plan”. This includes early years settings, schools, multi-academy trusts, colleges, and universities.

And there is training for us e.g. from the Early Years Alliance - I am all for helping our little treasures (and indeed staff!!) to be more climate aware but I have only just heard of this and it is already 2025!!  Anyone done any done any of the training?

Well I've not seen anything. - maybe I need to start  actually reading emails like I used to! 🙄

The problem is you’re bombarded with so many emails now to read, action, sign up to, answer county surveys, get someone on this or that county training, funding updates, safeguarding partnership updates, EYA updates….….how many unpaid hours are spent reading, replying, actioning emails because you’d never have time at work 😔
