As one of my targets for professional development i am to write a policy. We do not have a nursery just a reception class. I have never written a policy before and wondered if anyone has written a foundation stage policy. Any advice would be welcome - for instance what sort of headings should i have? JacquieL Posted April 9, 2006 Share Posted April 9, 2006 You need to look at the common format for the policies for your school and then fit the FS policy into that. It only needs to be one side of A4. Or you could have a brief policy covering the principles of FS and assessment and then write a brief policy for each curricuolum area.
