Recommend A Book?

hi could any one recommend a really book to help with proffessional developement in the foundation stage. really want a book that covers play, planning, assessements all in one.

It might sound really obvious, but the actual Curriculum Guidance for the Foundation Stage has some good ideas and advice.

I have to agree with the previous posts and add Helen Bilton's Outdoor Play in the Early Years it covers all you asked for, and the theory and the practice but is still accessible, easy to read and inspiring.
