Food hygiene renewal

Hi 

 

I just wanted to double check how often we should be renewing food hygiene level 2. Currently we are updating every 3 years. However some people seem to think it’s 2 years and some are saying you don’t need to renew at all. We provide fruit and snack, no hot meals. The children bring their own lunches.

We do our's annually but I have heard that only one member of staff needs to do the training and can then disseminate to other staff. (It never changes and does seem a waste of money and time doing it annually)

that is true , one person in the area Is enough to have the training course , I prefer level 3 and it have expired date , mine have 2years expiry date

We renew every three years.
