finleysmaid
Quick question ...i have inadvertently attached a photograph to another childs ob. I don't want to delete it because i need to write an ob on the photographed child too. Can i split the ob? or do i have to download the photo and then upload it again ....been a long week and its only Wednesday!
FSFRebecca
Yes, you can absolutely do that. At the moment you have one child with one photo? Edit that ob and add another child to it, now you have one photo with 2 children, save. Now click the little cog next to the observation (not edit) and a drop down with 'split group' will appear, click that and choose one of the children - save. Now you will have same photo in two different children's journals and you can edit, write up and assess each one separately.

Charlotte Hewitt
Hi, I have been using the app rather than the desktop version but cant find a split observation button on the app, does it have to be done on a desktop? Many thanks Charlotte
OlayaTapestrySupport
Hi Charlotte, Welcome to the forum! That is correct - I am afraid that there is not an option to split observations directly from the app. This is definitely a feature we are planning on adding to the app in the future, so please bear with us! In the meantime, you can split your observations directly from your mobile device or tablet by accessing the account through the browser version; the site is 'responsive' which means it will adjust to the size of your screen making it easy to navigate!
