Your staff must be using Amazon FIres?, Tapestry doesn't work on Kindles!

No, staff have to manually define their observations into areas of learning - Tapestry is not able to tell what was important about the observation and why the member of staff wanted to make a note of it. For example, if a member of staff records a video of a child painting with friends, Tapestry cannot tell whether this is an observation about mark making or if it is the first time this child has joined in with a shared activity and so should be defined under PSED.
