emasi8624 Posted October 7, 2015 Share Posted October 7, 2015 I had child attend for 2weeks. 30 funded hours, child has gone to state nursery. Have been told that child will not be with me on headcount day so we can not receive payment. They will pay the nursery where the child is on headcount day the full term 14 weeks. As headcount is 4 weeks into term a potential 60 hours could have been lost. Anyone else experienced this. I had this exact same thing with a child starting then 2 weeks in they said they got a place in a school nursery. I checked with the LA and they said its fine and we can claim for the 2 weeks. But then when I put the claim in I got a call saying they weren't paying as it had to be 3 weeks if she didn't come to us the previous term! I was so frustrated as I would have explained this to the parent at the time and asked her to honour her notice period of 2 weeks!!
