Guest Posted June 25, 2015 Share Posted June 25, 2015 Hi, we've been asked to do ECAT assessments on Tapestry to support our children with additional needs in CL. As far as I've been able to see so far, the ECAT categories seem identical to CL on the EYFS. Is ECAT still currently relevant as an assessment tool? For example Are there areas where it targets specific language development aspects not covered by the EYFS (consonant sounds etc)? Or is is more about the supporting resources/materials/training?
