Town Street Playgroup in Chapel Allerton, Leeds provides sessional term time care, play and learning opportunities for up to 30 children aged from two and a half years to school age.

 

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and motivated team members to join us from September 2015

 

As a Playgroup assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring that all children receive stimulating play experiences appropriate to their age, stage of development and individual needs.

 

You will work as part of the team to plan and deliver the EYFS curriculum, ensure the health, safety and well being of all children in the setting, taking on a Key Person role.

 

You will have excellent people and communication skills as you will liaise with parents, staff and other professionals.

 

You will be flexible, creative and committed to working with children and their parents.

 

This is a great opportunity to join a friendly, committed and motivated team who work well together and for each other.

 

You must:

o Hold a Full and Relevant Level 2/3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent or be prepared to undertake training on appointment.

 

Town Street Playgroup is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will need to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure via the Disclosure and Barring Service.
