footsteps12
Hi Am having a minor issue in the baby room which I wondered if anyone else shared. We have an exclusion policy for diarrhoea and temperature. However with babys parents blame any signs of this on teething. This is a really tricky issue. When I looked it up on the NHS it said there was no proven link between these symptoms and teething. Has anyone else come up against this issue? Guest
We've had parents blame diarrhoea on teething before, but you can't always be sure that it is. If policy is they go home, then stand by it. It's better to be safe than sorry. I'd rather the child go home and it be teething related than keep them at the setting and spread a bug to everyone else. diesel10
We usually give the benefit of the doubt if not sure. and then if they go again send home. Or if its running down their legs then its a definitely a go home. Must go and have my dinner now...............
