green hippo
Hi all, We are all dressing up for World Book Day and all classes have been asked to do some writing. I'm trying to think of an idea or some ideas that will engage the children in writing to do with their favourite book or character. So far I can only think of character passports so I need some inspiration!! Green Hippo x
Guest
We are 'passing a story on' - so like consequences one person starts then another adds the next bit. I'll be doing this with groups of 6(ish!) through the day, so will end up with five mini-stories to share at the end of the day. Last year we invited the favourite character to tea so wrote invitations and then thought of a suitable menu - amazing how many characters like sweetcorn and chips!
