Early Years Evaluation: Participation Required!

Recommended Posts

Hi all -

A large scale evaluation of the Primary and Secondary strategies urgently needs participants from the Foundation Stage, both practitioners and reception teachers. If you're able to assist, please could you make contact with them as detailed below. Many thanks! :)

Dear EY settings practitioner,

The National Foundation for Educational Research (NFER) has recently been commissioned to monitor and evaluate the National Primary and Secondary Strategies over a period of five years. A core element of the evaluation will be e-surveys of key individuals involved in the development and delivery of the Strategies.

We are currently recruiting members to a national panel of approximately 800 to 1200 stakeholders who are prepared to participate in e-surveys twice a year. The panel will consist of primary and secondary teachers, middle managers, and senior managers across all key stages (including practitioners in early years settings), as well as LEA strategy managers and consultants, and members of the National Strategies Field force. At the moment we particularly need to attract early years teachers and practitioners, such as yourselves, to the panel – this is your opportunity to comment on the impact and effectiveness of the Strategies and to shape their future development.

If you would like to have your say on the National Strategies and find out more, we would be really pleased to hear from you. Please email your name and contact details to stakeholderpanel@nfer.ac.uk. Alternatively, there is further information about the evaluation on our website, www.nfer.ac.uk.
