Guest
Emptying & filling ideas needed! The children enjoy emptying & filling activities and I'm looking for some inspiration for exciting and different ideas! What does everyone else do? Guest jakip
We have just done a lovely activity with dry pasta, rice, peas, broad beans and sunflower seeds. Filling pots of different sizes which changes the sound when shaken, dry cooking and how much can you get in your pot? How many spoonfuls?
Verona
We have two bowls one has water in and the children empty one bowl into the other using jumbo pipettes. Some spend ages at it going from one bowl to another and back again. if there are more than two bowls they have races to see who can empty theirs first. Good finger exercise as well. Guest
Ours like using lengths of clear piping to move water around, especially if we put some food colour in it - good syphoning is like magic!
