lbarwell Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 Hi all, The children in my class have shown an interest in the film 'Frozen'. I was wondering if anybody had done a mini topic on this before? Or have any suggestions for resources/CI activities that I can leave out? I've so far thought of the usual- make an ice castle from junk modelling and decorate, freezing jewels/animals in ice, sparkly playdoh etc. Any new/exciting ideas welcome!! Thanks 1
millhill Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 There are lots of ideas on Pinterest. Just type 'Frozen class ideas' into the search.

finleysmaid Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 im sure you could make a ;build a snowman ' beetle game or bingo. We did a spate of bingo games last year ...they went really well and very simple to differentiate for groups
Guest Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 Dressing up outfits, making Elsa's magical hands in ice. (fill rubber gloves with anything sparkly and water, freeze, then take them out of the rubber gloves.) Let the children build a stage for them to 'perform' their own making of Frozen, use marshmallows to make an Olaf. Pinterest will give you thousands of ideas. Enjoy
catma Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 What's the underpinning learning needs? What bits of the educational programmes are you focusing on? Once I had those in place I found the context was easier to pin down whatever the theme was. Cx 2
