I think you mean the ABC behaviour chart, antecedent, behaviour, consequences, something like that - it's where you record on a grid what happened before some unwanted behaviour happened, what the behaviour was, and the consequences of that behaviour so that you can begin to analyse possible triggers.

We use ABCC - the extra C is Communication - eg what is the behaviour trying to communicate such as snatching a toy or lashing out because another child is playing with a certain toy could be a child communicating their desire to play with that particular toy but unable to vocalise their needs
