Guest
Hi, I am being observed for an R.E lesson with Reception and am hoping to do it based around Mother's day. Does anyone have any ideas for stories based around loving/being thankful for your family/Mum? Thanks in advance

Stargrower
Full, Full Full of Love by Trish Cooke is a lovely story about a family sharing food (and love!). It's a great multi-cultural (West Indian family) story, but it isn't specifically about mothers.
Guest
Great, I'll get those ordered ! Thank you! I have an R.E observation next week and I am struggling with what to do! Any ideas are greatly appreciated! Think I'm going to base it on Mother's Day and what the children love about their mum' and that God loves us all. Just not sure how to organise it..... Never had an R.E observation before.....
WChurchill
A little rhyme - I love my mum, she's good to me, she cooks and cleans and cooks my tea, she's kind and gentle as can be, I love my mum and she loves me

HappyMaz
A little rhyme - I love my mum, she's good to me, she cooks and cleans and cooks my tea, she's kind and gentle as can be, I love my mum and she loves me If my children had been taught this at school, they'd have probably said "Oh no she doesn't! My dad does!"
