Have you got any families celebrating this it is really helpful if they can come in and share some traditional crafts/rituals with the children. In the past we have had making rangolia patterns outside, making divas, sparkerls, making cards, indian sweets, rangolia patterns on hands, painting plates to put candles on etc etc. Hope you find something to do with your children!
