Guest
I am stocking up my collage area - thinking health and safety, would coffee beans be a choking hazard?
Mouseketeer
Or just a waste of coffee beans ;p We have lots of bits and pieces in our collage tubs that could be seen as a choking hazard I guess, staff just need to be vigilant as always. Guest
Or just a waste of coffee beans ;p The coffee beans would be thrown out if not used because they are about 18 months out of date! I have just ground a newly opened bag - hoping the beans would have retained their flavour, but they have not. I have two 500g bags and just want them to be used! I suppose they would be no different to the small pegs we use with peg boards and all the children are 3+yrs. Thanks for your reply. x
narnia
I think they would be a lovely and unusual resource, yes, be vigilent (allergies etc),, but use them
Stargrower
I agree. No different to beads, pegs etc and bet they'll look great. It's amazing what we find when we clear our cupboards out! sammy50
I've used coffee beans they started in a creative area then got added to playdough, then ended up being ground up with different tools. the room smelt like a coffee shop - lovely.
