Guest Posted October 11, 2005 Posted October 11, 2005 Hi, I know its early but has anyone got any ideas for a christmas concert for infants. (not relating to nativity). Any scripts? Thanks Gaynor
Guest Posted October 11, 2005 Posted October 11, 2005 Don't know if it will help but we use the Elves and The Shoemaker. it has lots of different groups that you can organise little ones into. Spiders, Elves, Mice, Fireflies,,Stars. The Fireflies give warmth, the stars give light, the spiders give thread for sewing and the mice fetch the fairy leather for the elves to make the shoes. very basic but it works. you don't need to have any restrictions on how many children in each group. also you need a shoemaker and wife is optional. also a lady/man to but the shoes. works really well
Guest Posted October 11, 2005 Posted October 11, 2005 just to add you can put as little or as much dialogue as you like
Guest Posted October 11, 2005 Posted October 11, 2005 try this link Topics Forum, Sub-forum Christmas Peggy
Guest Posted October 12, 2005 Posted October 12, 2005 Hi Gaynor There is a lovely Christmas play called The Little lost kitten if you can get hold of it - it comes complete with narration and songs.
Marion Posted October 12, 2005 Posted October 12, 2005 Out of the Ark music do both tradional nativities and Christmas concert scripts with CDs of the music for those of us lacking in talent! http://www.outoftheark.com/
Guest Posted October 12, 2005 Posted October 12, 2005 I would recommend 'Sleepy shepard' and 'Its a baby'. i think they are by out of the ark. The children love the songs and they are really great for putting actions to.
Smiles Posted October 12, 2005 Posted October 12, 2005 Knock Knock Knock at the day is a good one from out of the ark. Sue
Guest Posted October 12, 2005 Posted October 12, 2005 We like 'Nursery Rhyme Nativity' by Golden Apple.
Beau Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 I hope you don't mind Gaynor but I'm going to move this into the new Christmas forum. You will be able to read all the threads here to get more Christmassy ideas.
Guest Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 We are doing 'The Sleepy Shepherd' This year, really looking forward to it. Last year we did 'Whoops a Daisy Angel' It was fantastic we all really enjoyed it.
