Have to say i dont agree with the statement that children play and learn differently now, i think they still need to know traditional skills (after all what happend if we have a serious computer crash!!) and several jobs cannot be done on computer...we still need people with building skills, cooking skills, creative exploration etc without creativity we would still be in caves....but equally if we do not continue to be creative we will not move forward. Also felt very nervous about the quantity of talking going on...these speaking and listening skills would need to be firmly imbeded before the computer took over.
