Froglet Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 I run an 'Infant choir' for the last 6 weeks of the summer term - actually it's Y1-Y3 and also organise a Singalong for the same year groups plus my reception children. I'm looking for some new songs. In the past I've downloaded a variety of songs from the Sing up website but we no longer have membership. Has anyone got suggestions for good, general song books (that might come with a CD!) that I could look in to ordering? Quote
Guest Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 One of the nicest songbooks I have come across is 'Happy Sun High' by Out of the Ark Music. The songs are written by Niki Davies. The quality is superb and comes with CD and songbook - including the written music. I just love it! Quote
Froglet Posted May 13, 2013 Author Posted May 13, 2013 Funnily enough I've just been looking at Out of the Ark music and noticed that one having never seen it before! Thanks for the recommendation. Quote
catma Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 Any of the A C Black songbooks http://www.exacteditions.com/read/music2012/music-catalogue-2012-30802 I used many of them with my choir in school. Quote
Froglet Posted May 13, 2013 Author Posted May 13, 2013 I'd forgotten about AC Black! Thank you - will go and explore. Quote
